These terms govern your use of Astrosaathi, the mobile app published as astro.astrosaath.ai and this website, both operated by Vela Labs, India. Installing or using the app means you accept them.

Astrosaathi is for guidance and reflection, not decisions. It is not medical, legal, financial, psychiatric or investment advice. Consult a qualified professional before acting on anything you read here — and if you are in distress, contact a doctor or an emergency service, not an app.

1. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract under Indian law. One account per person. Do not create an account for someone else or enter another person's birth details without their permission.

2. What the service actually is

Astrosaathi computes a sidereal Vedic birth chart from the birth details you supply and generates readings about it using an artificial intelligence model. There is no human astrologer on the other side of the conversation. The personas — their names, photographs and biographies — are illustrative characters we author, not real individuals available for consultation.

Readings are generated text. They can be wrong, inconsistent between sessions, or simply unhelpful, and the accuracy of a chart depends entirely on the accuracy of the birth time and place you give.

3. The free trial

New accounts get ten minutes of full access, starting the moment you first open a conversation. No payment details are collected for the trial, and nothing charges you when it ends — access simply stops until you buy a pack. One trial per person.

4. Message packs, payment and renewal

A message pack costs ₹199 and credits 200 messages, valid for 30 days from purchase. Prices include applicable Indian taxes.
It is a one-time purchase. Nothing auto-renews, no mandate is registered, and there is no subscription to cancel.
Unused messages expire at the end of the 30 days and do not roll over.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never receive your card, UPI or netbanking credentials.
A message is counted when the astrologer's reply is delivered. If a reply fails to arrive, the message is not deducted.
We may change prices; a change never affects a pack already bought.

5. Refunds

If a payment is debited but no messages are credited, we refund it in full — write to support@velaapp.ai with the Razorpay reference and we will resolve it within 7 working days. Refunds reach the original payment method within 5–7 working days after we issue them.

Beyond that, packs are non-refundable once messages have been used, since the service is delivered immediately on purchase. If you believe you were charged in error, tell us and we will look at it properly rather than hiding behind this paragraph.

6. What you agree not to do

Use the service to harass, defraud or impersonate anyone, or to ask for readings about a person who has not consented.
Attempt to extract our prompts, resell the readings, or use the service to train another model.
Automate, scrape or load-test the API, or work around message limits.
Use the service for medical, legal, financial or emergency decision-making, or hold it out to others as professional advice.

We may suspend or terminate an account that does these things. If we do, and you have an unused balance, we refund the unused portion unless the account was used for fraud.

7. Your content and ours

Your birth details and questions remain yours. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service — to compute your chart, generate replies and store the conversation so it continues. We do not publish your content or use it to advertise.

The app, the personas, the artwork and the underlying code are ours. Readings generated for you are yours to use personally; do not republish them as a commercial astrology service.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, an upstream provider outage or a model failure can interrupt it. If an outage consumes days of a pack's validity, write to us and we will extend it.

9. Liability

To the extent Indian law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for decisions you make on the basis of a reading, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by deleting your account, in Settings or from this page. Deletion removes your profile, chart and conversations permanently and forfeits any unused balance. We keep payment records for eight years as tax law requires — see the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, the app will show it before you continue using the service. Continued use after that means you accept the new version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Before going to court, write to us — most things are a misunderstanding we can fix in a day.
